This May has been so nice and dry — except for odd weekends, and it turned out the much waited Spring bank-holiday weekend was no exception, much to the disappointment of 13 of us participants of the meet. The Sunday night was a good test of the waterproofness of my bivvy bag, and so was Monday morning of my courage to get out of the bag to face the reality.
